"Master Painter brought thousands of different stories from his visionary imagination and how he saw 'Man and Machine'   coming together"

RELEASE: New York, Monday, February 20, 2006

Nick de Angelis' art is formal, romantic, abstract and especially in the case of his later work, geometrically based. He was inspired and influenced by both the dark and light sides of life which is reflected in his paintings. He found art in the most unlikely places and brought items home to study and they became a part of his work.  Art connoisseurs who wish to make his work part of their private or corporate collection will appreciate his ability to predict the merging of man and machine long before there were cell phones, Ipods, laptops and hand held computers.  For more information and a sample viewing of his huge body of work, please visit Nick de Angelis' web site at www.nickdeangelis.com.

About Nick de Angelis

Nick was born in New Jersey , 1921. After having served in the US Army in Europe, Africa and Italy where he was wounded, he
returned to the United States where he received the Purple Heart. After working as a freelance sketch-man for the top Advertising Agencies in New York, he decided in the 1960's to dedicate his life solely to his passions, painting and sculpture.  His dedication rivaled masters of art history and his love of creating art consumed him to the very end of his life.
